Lower floor exhibitor - Altair Astro

Altair Astro will be displaying several new and existing products downstairs at Astrofest:

The new iOptron Minitower Advanced v2 GOTO mount, an enhanced version of the popular Minitower, and the iOptron iEQ45, a light weight portable equatorial mount designed for quick and easy imaging in the field, or observatory. 5% off all iOptron products when ordered at the show.


The SkyShed POD Personal Observatory Dome and Altair SkyShed pier will be on display. The POD is a virtually indestructible observatory dome, which can be broken down, transported easily, and set up in a couple of hours. The Altair-SkyShed pier is designed for rapid setup and alignment. Altair Pier Adapters are available for various mounts. Piers are discounted 10% when ordered at the show.

New telescopes on display include the Altair Wave Series 102-715 ED triplet APO refractor and Altair 115-805 ED triplet APO with Starlight Feathertouch focuser upgrade, as well as the new Altair-GSO Carbon Fibre Newtonian Astrograph

 

Telescope and imaging Accessories on display will include the new Altair MiniGuider 60 System, a combination lightweight auto guider and finder scope for wide field imaging. The Altair TMS Telescope Mounting System (with a show discount of 10%) will be on display with some new clear anodised colour options, as well as several new Altair photo-visual accessories and adapters and the new Altair Laser Collimator. The new Altair Rigel USBnStep motor focuser, developed in collaboration with Rigel, will also be on display.

Finally, Altair Astro will be displaying the new range of Starwave ED refractor telescopes, which feature quality ED refractor optics, strong tube mechanics, and an imaging-ready 3” large format focuser. Dedicated 0.8x field reducers are available for imaging with your DSLR.
